Meet Steve! If dogs had resumes, his would read "Professional Best Friend with a minor in Cuddling." Steve is a quiet, patient gentleman who seems to understand just about everything you say, his ears perk, his eyes lock in, and he's ready to learn whatever comes next. He's incredibly people-loving and believes there's no such thing as too many friends... or too many hands available for pets.

Steve is a total family dog. He adores kids and happily shares snack time (apple slices are a big hit), and he thrives on being part of the action. Tug-of-war? He's in. Lounging on the couch? Even better, especially if it involves belly rubs and being as close to you as physically possible. This guy doesn't just enjoy affection, he campaigns for it with enthusiasm and a wagging tail.

He's also a fantastic adventure buddy. Steve loves car rides and will hop in without hesitation...just don't be surprised if he'd prefer to stay and keep the journey going! On walks, he's polite and easygoing, sticking by your side unless he spots a potential new dog friend to say hello to. He's generally unbothered by other animals, including cats, birds, and squirrels, though he does enjoy the occasional backyard lizard chase for a bit of sporty fun.
