Bear

Bear is a wonderful, loyal companion who is looking for a very specific kind of home. He is a 4-5 year old, 58lb male who bonds completely with his person and wants to be with them 24/7. He seems to have had a rough past and is understandably wary of men, so he would do best in a home with a single female who understands the breed and can provide consistent, gentle guidance. Bear can be a barker at strangers, so a home with no neighbors, visitors, or children is essential. He is, however, excellent with other dogs of all sizes and generally ignores farm animals. Bear needs an experienced owner who is patient and committed to building a trusting relationship, which may involve multiple visits.
