Willie is a sweet and feisty 13-year-old Maltese mix who loves his person, food, his dog sister, and all cool tile floors. This charming little guy was saved from the euthanasia list at Pasadena Animal Shelter with his sister, Callie. Their previous owners could no longer care for them and turned them in. Willie needed a dental procedure where over 9 teeth were removed, and he also had some skin warts removed. He eats dry food with no problem but is always happy to receive soft treats. While Willie takes a little time to adjust to new surroundings, he eventually shows his true personality and wags his white fluffy tail in greeting to visitors. Willie thrives in the presence of his humans, all children, and his fellow dog pack mates. He loves a good ear scratch and is enjoying shared moments of affection and serenity. He is mostly blind now, and while he can be a bit sensitive about how he is picked up due to his skin, he dreams of a forever home where he can become the best little buddy he was always meant to be.
Ideal Home
Willie thrives in the presence of his humans, all children, and his fellow dog pack mates. We will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs, based on past experiences and for the safety of our small breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Willie is mostly blind now. He recently underwent a dental procedure where over 9 teeth were removed, and he also had some skin warts removed. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all preventions.
Training & Support
Willie can be touchy about how he is picked up due to his sensitive skin.

- We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
