Meet Pepe Le Pew! This little masked bandit is a 9-week-old (estimated DOB March 2026) Chihuahua/Terrier mix, currently weighing in at 3 pounds and ready to grow into his paws. Pepe and his littermates were found abandoned on the streets of Houston, but this sweet boy is now safe and sound in a foster home in Austin, Texas, dreaming of his forever family. Pepe is on the smaller side of his litter but makes up for it with an abundance of love and charm. He's a professional napper and snuggler, preferring cozy cuddles to causing any trouble. Pepe is a lover, not a fighter, with a gentle personality that's impossible to resist.
Ideal Home
Pepe is a brave and social pup who we believe will do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced properly. However, due to his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. Pepe also cannot be left alone for long periods of time. We are looking for a home where someone is present most of the time to provide socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, we will only consider your application if another adult in the household can provide care during the day.
Ongoing Health
Pepe is a young puppy and we do not have information on his parents, so we cannot predict his adult size or specific breed mix. Adopters should be prepared for some mystery and lots of puppy surprises!
Training & Support
Like all puppies his age, Pepe is still learning potty and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training with frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Pepe is no exception.

Transporation
Pepe is currently in Austin, Texas, and can be transported once matched with an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks. If you have a specific timeline for receiving a dog, please apply when you are ready to adopt.
