Hi there! I'm Muffin, and I'm here to tell you all about my spunky, smart, and totally cute self! I had a little bit of a rough start as a puppy with something called juvenile cellulitis, which made my nose puff up and my hair thin. But with some medicine, I bounced back and now I'm looking as cute as can be, with an iconic skunk-stripe mohawk!
Even though I'm still just a few months old, I've learned that life is an adventure and I'm ready to embrace every minute of it! My foster human says I'm a terrier puppy, which means I love to run, jump, play with toys, and wrestle with my doggy friends. I'm not shy about letting you know what I need, whether it's letting my human know a toy is lost, I need more attention, or it's potty time! I'm still working on the potty training, but I'm trying my best, especially when I get that excited reaction and maybe a snack!
I love it when my humans are happy and excited, especially if it involves games, calling my name, or sharing snacks! I'm all about positive reinforcement, so I hope my forever human enjoys playing games and rewarding good behavior. My foster home has adults and other dogs, and while I enjoy playing with visiting children, I'm not a big fan of being held for too long. I'd much rather be exploring the yard, chasing leaves, or munching on sticks! However, I do love a good couch snuggle with my favorite stuffie and I'm excellent at settling down for quiet time, especially after breakfast so my human can "get some work done." It's all about finding that perfect balance!
Ideal Home
A home with adults and other dogs would be ideal. While I enjoy supervised play with children, I am not keen on being held for extended periods and prefer to be on the move.
Ongoing Health
I had juvenile cellulitis as a puppy, which affected my nose and hair. I have since recovered and my coat is shiny and full.
Training & Support
I am working on potty training and respond well to positive reinforcement and snacks. I also bark to communicate my needs. I enjoy interactive games and activities.
