Meet Waylon - A Survivor with A Heart of Gold!

Waylon is a 1 1/2 year old pup with a heart of gold and a story of incredible resilience. This sweet boy has already overcome more than most dogs ever should, and yet, he's still full of love, trust, and joy. Waylon was found after being hit by a car and left behind injured, starving, and fighting to survive. He underwent two surgeries, and somehow, through it all, he never lost his gentle spirit or his love for people. Today, he stands as a beautiful example of strength, forgiveness, and hope. Now healed and thriving, Waylon is affectionate, playful, and full of life. He enjoys being active, spending time with his people, and soaking up every bit of love he can get. But he also has a calm, tender side and truly just wants to be close to feel safe and be part of a family who will never give up on him again.

Ideal Home

Waylon is well-rounded and fits beautifully into many homes. He is great with other dogs, good with kids, and friendly with adults. Cat compatibility is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Waylon has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on prevention.

Training & Support

Waylon is eager to please and continues to thrive in a loving environment where he feels safe and supported.

Waylon is currently fostered in Houston, Texas. Transport is available for out-of-state adopters for an additional fee.
