Zac is a handsome 5-year-old, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing around 60 pounds. He was rescued from a county shelter and has truly blossomed in his foster home. Zac is the epitome of a loyal companion, offering a perfect blend of playful energy and relaxed affection. He enjoys the company of other dogs, participating in play sessions before happily settling down for some quality time with his people. Zac is house-trained, crate-trained, and a conversationalist, especially when dinner is running late! He loves attention, belly rubs, and gazing into your eyes. Zac has also become more comfortable with car rides and enjoys toys and treats.
Ideal Home
Zac thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods. He enjoys having other dogs around or people nearby to share his life with. He would do well with a family or a single adopter looking for a devoted companion. His foster believes he would do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when he gets excited.
Ongoing Health
Zac underwent FHO surgery on a back leg to address a previous, untreated injury. He has fully healed and requires no further medical intervention or medication.
Training & Support
Zac is house-trained and crate-trained. He is working on not jumping up when excited.
