Tawny arrived to us on April 11th, 2026, as a sweet transfer from California. She's a shy girl who is looking for a calm and patient home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. When meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar environments, Tawny can be a bit timid, but with gentle encouragement and understanding, she slowly begins to open up and reveal her soft, loving personality. She plays well with other dogs and may enjoy having a confident canine companion to help her feel more comfortable as she settles into a new home.

Ideal Home

Tawny would do best with a patient handler who will allow her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. A quieter home and steady routine will help Tawny thrive as she learns to trust and comes out of her shell.
