Meet Sally!

Sally is a sweet, 7-year-old, 9-pound Maltese who comes to us from a puppy mill. She's still adjusting to life as a cherished pet but is already showing her tail-wagging enthusiasm for her new surroundings. Sally is a gem who deserves a slow and patient approach from a family ready to help her learn and grow into the wonderful companion she's sure to be.

Ideal Home

Sally would thrive in a calm and patient home that understands she needs time to adjust to pet life. A fenced yard would be a bonus, as she's never walked on a leash before.

Ongoing Health

Sally will be spayed and have a dental procedure on Monday, June 22nd. Her vetting, including the dental and spay, is expected to cost over $1500.

Training & Support

Sally has never walked on a leash and will need gentle guidance as she learns. Her new family should be prepared to give her the time and space she needs to fully blossom.

Sally is temporarily staying in Norfolk, VA, and will be moving to a foster home in Montpelier, VA, once she has recovered from her surgery.
