Anthony

Meet Anthony! This sweet, gentle boy has had a rough start to life, but his spirit remains incredibly open and loving. Anthony was rescued from an illegal slaughterhouse in Korea, where he endured a life of confinement. After coming to the U.S., he was adopted but sadly returned due to continued accidents in his crate. We've determined this is a behavioral issue stemming from his past, as a crate unfortunately reminds him of his previous life rather than being a safe space. Despite everything, Anthony is kind and trusting, and he's ready to learn what life as a cherished family member truly means.

Ideal Home

Anthony would thrive in a home with another dog to help guide him, and a family that is home more often than not. He needs a patient and understanding household that can give him the time he needs to decompress and adjust to a loving home environment.

Ongoing Health

Anthony's crate-related accidents are believed to be behavioral, not medical, as these issues have been ruled out. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Anthony will need patience and understanding as he learns to trust and adjust to a home environment. His past experiences mean he needs time to feel safe and learn new routines.
