Ideal Home
Bert would thrive with a human or humans who enjoy training, structure, and building a strong bond. A fenced yard is a must for his zoomies and agility practice. He needs an active lifestyle that balances adventure with plenty of couch snuggles. An adult home or one with older, respectful children who understand his space is ideal. While he enjoys dog friends, he's not a fan of cats.
Ongoing Health
Bert is neutered, microchipped, housebroken, crate trained, up-to-date on vaccinations, and up-to-date on preventatives. He is also good in the car.
Training & Support
Bert is a quick learner and lives for training, puzzle toys, and agility. He communicates clearly and is learning polite manners, especially when it comes to treats. He can get amped up quickly but is making great progress in learning to regulate and relax. He prefers not to be picked up or have his feet touched, but handling is improving with trust and patience. He's not a fan of chaotic dog parks, preferring smaller hikes with familiar friends.
