Meet Stony Lonesome German Shepherds. We are a small Longcoat GSD kennel located in southern Indiana. We only breed a few litters per year. We have traditional black and red, solid black & melanistic/bicolor longcoats. Our adult dogs and puppies are our life. We spend time hiking, walking, dock diving, playing frisbee and engaging our dogs on a daily basis. We are always trying to improve our kennel and the GSD. Our main goal is to start well-bred pups that have enhanced stability, trainability, confidence, and engagement with people and the world; preparing them so that you can finish the job and grow them into a loved, integral part of your family, and more easily train them to excel in the areas of play, work and competition that your family and their individuality choose for them. In the words of Patricia McConnell, "docile but not timid". AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder.
