Nala is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She is a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion who settles into family life with ease. Nala has an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. She enjoys spending time with other dogs, is playful, but also happy to relax. Nala is gentle with smaller dogs and reads social cues well. On walks, she is completely non-reactive and has excellent leash manners.
Nala currently lives with children ages 6 and 8, and has also spent time with a 5-year-old. Her foster describes her as incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with kids. She would be a wonderful addition to a home with children of any age.
Nala is fully house-trained and does well in her crate. She may bark or cry for a few minutes when first crated or left alone but settles down quickly. This mild separation anxiety is expected to improve with a consistent routine. Nala is smart, eager to please, and listens well. She loves playing with balls, enjoys car rides, has no trouble with stairs, and greets everyone with kindness.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy a daily walk and plenty of time with her people. She would likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, but it is not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Nala is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and is spayed.
Training & Support
Nala knows several commands and responds beautifully to verbal cues. Her foster describes her as a "turnkey pup!"
