Tigger Tiggy is believed to be a pittie mix, approximately 4 years old and weighing 68 lbs. As with any rescue, his exact breed and age are a mystery, but his heart is pure gold.
Ideal Home
Tigger Tiggy would thrive in a home where he can be your constant shadow. He enjoys being outdoors and would be happiest with a securely fenced backyard for exploring and soaking up the sun. While he could do well in an apartment with a moderately active family and sufficient exercise, a yard would truly make his tail wag. He gets along well with other dogs, especially female dogs who are a bit more established and can help him feel comfortable at his own pace. He needs a little time to warm up to new canine friends, but once he does, you'll see him sunbathing and wrestling with them. Tigger was also respectful and appropriate around a resident cat, and we can arrange a cat sleepover to ensure compatibility.

Training & Support
Tigger Tiggy is a smart cookie who aims to please! He is already crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, even responding to gentle corrections. His recall is fantastic, and he'll often do an adorable "happy paw" dance when you call him. He has also been introduced to children aged 6-12 and has done wonderfully with them, making him a potential great family dog.

Tigger is currently being fostered in Texas. We provide nationwide transport using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for every pet. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Adopters in Canada can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
