Chopper

Meet Chopper, a precious pup born on February 8, 2025! Chopper is the only boy in a litter of six adorable puppies, and he's already showing his sweet personality. His mom, Helena, is likely a Chihuahua mix, and we expect Chopper to be a Terrier-Chihuahua mix as well.

Chopper is a bit on the thin side, weighing in at 22 lbs, but we think he'll fill out nicely with a little more time. He's not the most food-motivated pup and can be a bit picky, but he absolutely adores people and is very focused on his humans. Because he's so people-oriented, he doesn't enjoy being left alone, even in a different room.

Ideal Home

Chopper would thrive in a home where he can be with his people as much as possible. He's not fond of being crated.

Ongoing Health

Chopper is up-to-date on all his vet care, including vaccinations, he's heartworm negative and on year-round prevention, and he's already been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Chopper is mostly housebroken. He's still learning to be comfortable with his own space and would benefit from a patient adopter who can help him build confidence when he's by himself.
