Batman is a gorgeous, happy boy who is energetic and looking for a home with a strong leader who is active and will keep him busy and engaged. He is estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs approximately 80-90lbs. Batman was found dumped in a remote park, along with another German Shepherd mix, Robin. He has since been neutered and has completed board and train. He is now a total love bug but will need an owner with power breed experience who can lead him instead of letting him lead them. Batman loves female dogs and would do well living with one. Robin, who he adores, is also available for adoption and while they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together. Batman is mostly indifferent with male dogs as long as they are not intact. He may be able to live with a male dog, but he’ll need to be tested with any dogs already in the family. With a lot of energy to burn, he’d love to be a running or hiking buddy (never off leash!), or have a huge, fenced yard where he can play fetch with his favorite toys. He does know how to settle down and just chill, but understand that he will need his exercise or he will likely get up to no good. Batman has been great with younger children who are dog savvy, but we recommend older children and are happy to discuss on a case-by-case basis. He has not yet been evaluated with cats, but he hasn’t shown any interest so far.
