Betsy Blue

Meet Betsy Blue, a two-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix with a heart full of wiggles and a voice that sounds like a piglet when she's excited! Betsy has one striking blue eye and one warm brown eye, along with soft, floppy ears and beautiful coloring that make her a true stunner. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, offering a gentle "drive-by bump" to gauge their trustworthiness before unleashing her full, joyful personality. Once she decides you're worthy of her affections, you'll be greeted with enthusiastic wags, infectious wiggles, and a loving gaze. Betsy absolutely adores her people and is a devoted companion.

Ideal Home

Betsy would thrive in a quieter home where she can feel safe and confident. She would do best with a family who understands the importance of patience as she warms up. Older children who can respect her space and allow her to approach them on her own terms would be a wonderful match.

Betsy is a smart girl and a fast learner, picking up new commands quickly. She is highly treat-motivated, making training a breeze. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys her walks. Betsy also loves to play with small plush cat toys, tossing them and chasing them around for self-entertainment.

Betsy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
