About Aria

Aria is a sweet and wonderful dog, approximately 1 year old and weighing around 45 lbs. She came to us when she found herself in need of a home. While she was adopted for a few days, her adoptive mom discovered a severe allergy, making it impossible for Aria to stay. Thankfully, she's now in a foster home where more information will be gathered soon! Aria is a friendly, happy, sweet, and gentle girl with the cutest whole-body wag that shows just how excited she is to see you! She was a little nervous upon arrival but is now shining with her loving personality. She's a playful and attentive companion who may alert you to unusual sounds but calms down easily. She's tuned into her people and is a truly wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Aria would love a home with a fenced yard where she can safely stretch her legs and enjoy her "fetch zoomies!" She hasn't met children yet, and while she's generally gentle, it would be best if she wasn't around toddlers she might accidentally bump over. She hasn't met other dogs yet, so a meet-and-greet is a must. Her cat-friendliness is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Aria is current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Aria knows the "sit" command and is eager to learn more. Her previous temporary family reported she was responsive to verbal cues and smart. She seems to prefer staying in her yard over walks and may need time and patience to get used to leash walking in new environments. She slept quietly in her crate overnight and her potty manners were very good in her previous home, whinining at the door when she needed to go out. Like all dogs, she thrives with love, attention, exercise, and training. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all adopted dogs.
