Nell

Nell is a sweet and easy-to-manage girl who started life as a feral pup. She was rescued at a young age and has spent most of her life in our care, thriving in both our home base at Windsong Ranch and in foster homes. She's currently in a foster home where she's really polished her leash-walking skills, sleeps in a crate at night, and enjoys yard time with other dogs. Nell has experience living with a variety of dogs and cats, though a slow, careful introduction would be needed if you have feline friends. She enjoys gentle petting and brushing but isn't demanding, making her a great companion for a busy adopter. Nell is happy to motivate you with daily walks and will happily nap nearby while you work or relax.

Ideal Home

Nell would do best in a home with another confident, dog-loving dog who enjoys playing. A home that can offer daily leash walks would be beneficial for her confidence and skills.

Ongoing Health

Nell is a healthy dog with no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Nell is still learning to trust humans due to her challenging start in life. While she is skittish, she is making great progress with leash walking and crate training. Patience, consistency, and positive interactions will be key to her continued development.
