Nico is patiently waiting for his forever home or a committed foster home! It's heartbreaking that this sweetheart of a dog has waited over three years for a home. Is it the one-dog home preference? The "black dog" phenomenon? We just don't understand! He is such a darling!

If you’re looking for a dog that brings joy, laughter, and endless cuddles, Nico is your guy! This 6-year-old, 60 lb low-riding bundle of happiness is a true character! Whether he’s rolling belly-up in the grass for tummy rubs (his signature move!), chasing a ball, or showing off his dress-up skills, Nico is guaranteed to keep you smiling.

Nico is playful, affectionate, and super snuggly. He LOVES people and will melt right into your arms. He has medium energy and is happy to lounge, walk, or play. Nico is great in the car, crate trained, and bath approved! He has had professional training and comes with ongoing training support.

Ideal Home

Nico would thrive in a home with adults or older kids. He would do best as the only dog in the home, but we are open to the right fit.

Nico has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Nico has had professional training and comes with training support for life. He has lived in a foster home where he has learned great house manners.
