Meet Nova, your loyal shadow with a playful spark! Nova is an almost 2-year-old Shepsky (German Shepherd/Husky mix) with a heart as big as her paws, and trust us, she hasn't quite figured out how big those paws are yet. Once she fills out with proper care, she'll likely be around 75 lbs of love, loyalty, and just a little bit of goofiness. Nova is the kind of dog who gives you the best of both worlds: she's always up for a good run or play session with her dog friends, but when the fun winds down, she's happiest laying quietly by your chair, just keeping you company.

Ideal Home

Nova would thrive in a home where she can be an integral part of the family. She's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and cat-friendly. Her only "dealbreaker" is that she needs a home that can manage her diabetic needs, which includes a consistent feeding routine and insulin administration. She's also a professional counter inspector, so be prepared for that!

Nova is diabetic, which means she requires insulin and a consistent feeding routine. She takes her treatment like a champ and is otherwise a healthy, happy girl.

Training & Support

Nova knows basic commands and is a very smart girl. She is looking for a committed human who can provide her with a routine-oriented environment to help manage her diabetes.
