GARNET

This gentle giant is Garnet, a fawn Mastiff with a black mask, born on September 17, 2020. Garnet weighs a mighty 170 lbs and is a true testament to the resilience of the spirit. In December 2022, Garnet's world was turned upside down when his home tragically burned down. He suffered severe burns over most of his body and underwent six months of incredibly painful treatment, including daily burn ointment, medication, fluids, and forced feeding due to throat burns. Despite the odds, Garnet’s will to live shone through, and he survived! While his skin may be thin in some areas, making him susceptible to irritation, he is otherwise healthy and has just been neutered. Garnet is also up-to-date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He is a hero at heart, having bravely shielded other dogs from the fire, sustaining minor burns himself while protecting his friends.
