Meet Luna, a sweet little Havanese mix who is just beginning to discover what it means to be a loved family dog. After spending much of her life as a breeding dog with very little human interaction, she's learning that people can be kind, patient, and safe. Luna may be wary of unfamiliar men at first and will need slow introductions and the opportunity to approach new people on her own terms. Each day, Luna grows a little braver. She's recently discovered the joy of zoomies, enjoys relaxing on the back of the couch, and takes great comfort in the company of the small dogs in her foster home. Because of this, she'd do best in a home with another friendly small dog to help build her confidence. Luna isn't an instant lap dog, but for the family willing to be patient, watching her confidence grow and earning her trust will be incredibly rewarding. If you're looking for a gentle companion and understand that the best relationships take time, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family.
