Peaches

Meet Peaches! This sweet 2-year-old brindle girl is looking for her forever home. Peaches has a happy-go-lucky disposition, much like a Golden Retriever, and loves to be close to her people. She enjoys cuddles, chin and back scratches, and will often nudge you with her nose when she's seeking attention. If you're busy, she's happy to entertain herself with toys or relax nearby. Her favorite activities include sunbathing, playing tug-of-war, and snuggling. She also has a special fondness for strawberries!

Ideal Home

Peaches is a wonderful work-from-home companion, often napping or enjoying a chew toy while you're busy. She has a medium energy level, with bursts of excitement in new environments. She loves her walks, playtime, and adventures to the park.

Peaches has no known health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Peaches is doing very well with house training and has no accidents when on a regular potty schedule. She's crate-trained and uses her crate happily, especially with an enrichment item. She also does well when left uncrated for short periods. Peaches is highly food motivated and a quick learner, already mastering commands like sit, paw, touch, focus, and down. She responds well to her name and loves puzzle toys and enrichment treats like peanut butter-filled bones. She does have a tendency to chase birds and squirrels on walks, but redirects well. While generally good with other dogs, it's recommended to keep some distance from unfamiliar dogs on walks as her reactions are still being managed.
