Hi there! I'm Carlie, a delightful 1-2 year old girl with a heart full of love and a spirit that's both sassy and sweet. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, and let me tell you, I'm so happy to be somewhere safe where I can finally relax and enjoy life. My time at the shelter wasn't the easiest, but I did find joy playing with other dogs in the play park, and I get along well with most of my canine companions. Humans are my absolute favorite, though – I just adore being petted and having my belly rubbed! I'm a happy, sometimes bossy, but always loving girl, and I'm dreaming of my furever home.

Ideal Home

Carlie would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and affection. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is good with children of all ages.

Ongoing Health

Carlie is heartworm positive. She has received the 1-year ProHeart Injection, which is a slow-kill treatment method.

While Carlie is described as sometimes bossy, she is a smart girl who will thrive with continued guidance and positive reinforcement.
