Fluff is a beautiful, devoted female Great Pyrenees with a wonderfully gentle spirit. She was found as an underweight stray at a rest stop but is now safe in rescue and ready for the loving family she deserves. This sweet, laid-back girl enjoys being close to her people. She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and politely accepts attention. Fluff loves being indoors and is comfortable in the house. She appears to be housebroken, is not destructive, settles quietly in a crate, and seems to have had some basic obedience training before rescue. Like a good Pyr, Fluff enjoys exploring the yard and keeping watch. She patrols the fence line, alerts when something seems out of place, and may join in when other dogs bark. She greets other dogs with a wagging tail and has started playing by running and chasing. Fluff handles spa days like a sweetheart; she soaked up the attention and was wonderfully patient while mats were clipped away, her nails were trimmed, and her ears were cleaned. Afterward, she hopped right into the vehicle and happily enjoyed the ride. If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate guardian who will lean in for love and become a devoted member of the family, Fluff may be the perfect girl for you. She is ready for her fresh start and looks forward to meeting the family who will cherish her.
Ideal Home
Fluff requires a home with a secure, visible fence that is at least 5-ft high. Invisible fencing will not contain this breed. She would do wonderfully in a home filled with love, attention, and people who have time for her. She would be happy as an only pet or with a playful dog companion, but she should not live with cats. Her perfect family will appreciate her gentle nature, loyal Pyr instincts, and desire to stay close. She has not been tested around children, but her gentle personality may be a good fit for respectful kids who understand large dogs.
