Meet Salt, a 3-year-old, 60-pound Husky with a zest for life and a penchant for play. This handsome goofball is on the lookout for an active family ready to match his energy and share in his adventures. Salt's daily agenda includes outdoor escapades, running wild with his foster siblings, and indulging in his favorite pastime—cuddling. He's a true "dogs' dog," thriving in the company of canine companions, and his playgroup could rival a doggy daycare. However, cats need not apply; Salt prefers his friendships to be strictly canine. While Salt is a social butterfly with dogs, he takes a bit more time warming up to humans, especially those with a more masculine presence. But don't worry—with patience and a pocketful of treats, he'll soon be your loyal sidekick, ready to binge-watch your favorite shows (as long as you share the popcorn). Salt is crate-trained and has impeccable house manners—no chewed shoes or surprise pillow dissections here. He's the perfect blend of playful energy and indoor etiquette, making him an ideal companion for an active household. If you're seeking a four-legged friend to join you on hikes, keep you motivated during morning jogs, and provide endless entertainment with his goofy antics, Salt is ready to leap into your life. Just be prepared for a loyal companion who might occasionally hog the bed and insists on being the little spoon.
Ideal Home
Salt would do best in a home with a fenced yard and preferably with another dog. He is not a good fit for homes with cats. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.

Salt has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Salt is crate-trained and has no known bad habits within the home. He may take some time warming up to new people, especially men, and would benefit from patience and positive reinforcement.
