Tracy

Hi there! I'm Tracy, and I'm a sweet girl who's had a bit of a rough start in life. I was rescued from a puppy mill, so I'm still learning what it's like to be a cherished pet. I'm a little shy because I haven't had much experience with people or home living. My life was spent in a barn, shed, or cage, but the volunteers here say I'm a natural lap dog and I just love receiving TLC! The groomer even said I enjoy being held. I'm currently with one of our wonderful vets getting a check-up to make sure I'm healthy. I'm so hopeful for a family who will help me understand that I'm a special part of the family, not just an animal to be used.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a patient and experienced home that understands I'll need time to trust. My ideal family will have prior dog experience and be ready to help me learn all the skills a great pet needs, like walking on a leash, house training, and socializing.

Ongoing Health

I'm currently undergoing a veterinary check-up to ensure I'm in good health.

Training & Support

I'll need guidance and training to learn how to walk on a lead, be house-trained, and socialize. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping me build trust and learn to be a confident pet.
