About Colt

Colt is a stunning boy who was found out in the country in July of 2025. He came in with two puppies who have since found their forever homes. Colt has done well in playgroups and generally gets along with other dogs, though he is a bit selective. He's a big boy, but he's learning to walk nicely on a leash! An Embark DNA test revealed Colt is 60% Pit Bull, 16% Mastiff, 7% Lab, 6% Great Pyrenees, and 11% "Supermutt." He absolutely loves being outdoors and soaking up all the attention. Colt doesn't always show his best self at the shelter, but he truly is a happy and wonderful companion who deserves a hero to give him a chance. We know he'd be overjoyed to finally have a family of his own!
