Archie 8.2 lbs

Meet Archie, a charming apricot and white mini poodle with a uniquely rounded doodle-style head! Born on December 30, 2025, Archie currently weighs 8.2 lbs and is expected to reach an adult weight between 12-15 lbs, similar to his parents. He was released from a breeder as he was older and unsold, but he's perfectly healthy, vet-checked, and ready for his forever home. Archie is a friendly boy who can be a little shy in new situations, but he quickly warms up, especially to other dogs, cats, and children. He loves to lapsit and watch TV, though he may need a little encouragement to get to the couch! He's already crate and doggy door trained.

Ideal Home

Archie gets along well with cats, kids, and other dogs. Prospective adopters should be aware that he may not have had much experience with leashes, so a soft-coated harness might be the best option. It is also requested that any upcoming vacations be completed before applying to adopt.

Ongoing Health

Archie has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations including Parvo, Distemper, and Rabies. He has also been fecal tested and is clear, and will go home with Frontlined and 30 days of heartworm prevention. All vet paperwork will be provided.

Training & Support

Archie is crate trained and doggy door trained. While he hasn't been house-broken in the traditional sense, guidance will be provided on how to house-break him.

Transportation

Archie is located in Antwerp, OH 45813. Transport is available to Maumee every other Wednesday morning if needed. Approved families are always welcome to visit in Antwerp.
