Mondo

Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old, 50-55lb Australian Shepherd mix with a gorgeous charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted legs. Don't let his age fool you – he's an active and happy boy who loves to play! Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's also potty-trained and crate-trained.

Ideal Home

Mondo would thrive in a home with an active person or family who can provide him with regular exercise through walks, hikes, or camping. He is not an apartment dog or yard art. He would do well as an only dog or with a medium to large breed dog, male or female. He can live with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he is included in daily life. Mondo is NOT to be left tied outside or have an electric fence.

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo knows basic commands but is not off-leash trained. He is a smart and agile dog who is eager to learn. While he had issues with fence climbing at the shelter, his foster has not experienced any escape attempts due to regular exercise and playtime. He rides well in the car without anxiety.
