He's an incredibly loyal and loving companion, possessing a keen intelligence driven by his desire to please. Ideal Home

Tigger Tiggy would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can explore, play, and enjoy the sunshine. He's adaptable and could do well in an apartment with a semi-active family and proper exercise, but a yard is his preference. He would do best with a female dog who is patient and allows him to warm up at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Tigger Tiggy is a pittie mix, believed to be around 4 years old and weighing 68 lbs. As with all rescues, breed and age are not guaranteed.

Training & Support

Tigger Tiggy is a smart boy who knows commands like "sit" and "down." He is crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, naturally slowing his pace when he senses tension. He has a solid recall and will even do an adorable "happy paw" dance when called. He was introduced to a cat and was respectful, showing no chasing behavior. We can arrange for a sleepover with a cat if you have one in your home. Tigger has also been around children aged 6-12 and has done wonderfully with them.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
