Hey there. I’m Buster.
Apparently I was operating under the impression that I had a family. Turns out I was more of a ‘community edition’ dog. For a long time, I wandered the neighborhood making my rounds, visiting people, checking yards, supervising absolutely nothing like a middle-aged dad at a construction site. Everybody knew me. Everybody liked me. But at the end of the day, I never really belonged to anyone. And then one day? My owners decided they just…didn’t want me anymore. Cool. Cool cool cool. The good news is they didn’t break my spirit. Because despite humans occasionally behaving like raccoons with car keys, I still love everybody. Dogs? Love ‘em. Cats? Fine by me. People? Absolutely my thing. Random strangers willing to pet me? Excellent judgment on their part. Buster is the kind of dog who settles into a home like he’s always belonged there. Easygoing, friendly, happy to tag along wherever life goes. He’s got that classic border collie intelligence without the intensity dial turned up to ‘herding your furniture at 2 AM.’ Mostly, he just wants to be included. A yard to sniff. A couch to nap on. People who actually mean it when they call him theirs. And honestly? After being treated like an afterthought, this sweet boy deserves permanence. Love, Buster. Gumbo here. Imagine THROWING AWAY a dog friendly to humans, dogs, AND cats in this economy. Some people do not deserve opposable thumbs.
