Potato

Potato, affectionately known around here as "meatball"-because, well... just look at me! I am 65 pounds of goofy loyalty with a marshmallow center and an adorable squeaky bark that will make anyone chuckle. I was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray, but my owners never came to reclaim me. The good news is I adjusted quickly to my new routine at the shelter, and now some lucky person will get to love me as much as I love them because I'm a real people-pleaser! I'm about 5 years old and a sensitive soul with a heart of gold and a serious enthusiasm for any new adventure. I absolutely love making new doggie friends, I walk great on a leash, and I'm a complete lovebug with a tail wag that could clear a coffee table! If you're looking for a "sweet potato" to grow with your family, I'm your boy.

Ideal Home

Every dog, cat, and child will react differently to a new pet, so proper and safe introductions are always important for a smooth and successful transition.

Ongoing Health

All animals are vet examined, spayed/neutered, blood tested and microchipped. If old enough, they receive routine vaccinations.

Training & Support

I walk great on a leash and am a people-pleaser, but I am a sensitive soul and would do best in a home that understands my needs.

• Adoption fee is $225.
• We are by appointment only and do not have open hours for public viewing.
• Once your application is approved, an appointment will be scheduled to visit with your desired pet.
