Nora is a delightful 2-year-old mix of Caramelo Dog and Labrador Retriever, weighing in at a petite 32 pounds. Her beautiful caramel-colored coat is as warm as her personality, and she possesses an endless love for life. Nora is incredibly social and friendly, making fast friends with dogs, children, men, and women alike. She's a bundle of energy and happiness, always ready for a game of fetch, a romp in the park, or any activity that keeps her moving. She would truly blossom in a home that embraces outdoor adventures and can shower her with plenty of playtime and affection.
Nora's journey began in Houston, where she and her sisters faced a challenging start, found as tiny 3-month-old puppies struggling to survive on the streets. Sadly, two of her sisters were lost due to a tragic act of violence before they could be rescued. Nora and her surviving sister were saved just in the nick of time, given the chance for a safe and loving future.
Despite her difficult beginnings, Nora has blossomed into a joyful, affectionate, and playful dog, eager to leave her past behind and find a forever family. She's dreaming of a home where she'll always feel safe, loved, and free to be the happy, vibrant dog she was always meant to be.

Ideally, her new family will have experience with dog behavior and training, and possess a great deal of patience and understanding for rescued animals, as she is not yet house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Nora has received comprehensive veterinary care, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated for DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella, dewormed, and tested for heartworm. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
