Honey

Honey is a bundle of joy under a year old, with a birthday on November 7, 2025. She was surrendered through no fault of her own and is eager to find her forever home. Honey is full of adorable puppy traits, loves to play and explore, and has a curious and active spirit!

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home with children 14 years and older. We're still learning about her compatibility with other dogs, but she did get along well with Jasper, our deaf, large bully pup, so she might be okay with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Honey is spayed and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, including heartworm and Lyme testing, deworming, and flea/tick prevention.

Training & Support

We are still assessing Honey's training needs. Once adopted, you'll receive a free session with our trainer, Canine Cooperative, to help you and Honey get started on the right paw!

• Please have your veterinarian's contact information ready to permit us to speak with them for our vet check.
• If you rent your home, please bring a copy of your lease or rental agreement showing that pets are allowed.
• If you have a dog at home, two meet-and-greets are required.

Transportation

Honey is located at the West Milford Animal Shelter in West Milford, NJ. We can discuss transportation options for approved adopters.
