If you've ever wished your favorite stuffed animal could magically come to life, then Ernie is the dog for you! This ridiculously handsome chocolate Lab/Staffy mix is a true gem. He has a happy pittie smile, soulful amber eyes, adorable forehead wrinkles, and enough personality to keep you grinning every day. Ernie is a fully potty trained and crate trained good boy who walks wonderfully on leash and knows how to sit. He's been living with two other large dogs in his foster home and has been absolutely amazing.

Ideal Home

Ernie would do best in a cat-free home, as he finds them a little too exciting.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned. Ernie receives comprehensive vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Ernie is already house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He knows basic commands like "sit."

Ernie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation.
