Malibu is a stunning boy who, despite a rough start, is ready to share his affection and playful spirit with a loving family. He arrived at a Houston kill shelter with no microchip and not neutered, having been discarded and left to fend for himself. Thankfully, Animal Control stepped in, and now Malibu is fully vetted, safe, and receiving the care he deserves. At approximately 4 years old, he is a sweet, deeply affectionate, and playful dog who relishes human interaction. Once he settles in, his calm and gentle demeanor truly shines, revealing the joy of a dog who knows he's been given a second chance at life.

Ongoing Health

Malibu is heartworm positive but is already on the road to recovery. He has received his ProHeart 12 injection and is completing a 30-day course of doxycycline as part of a slow-kill treatment protocol.

Training & Support

Malibu is noted as "No" for house-trained. With patience and positive reinforcement, he will likely learn quickly. His calm and gentle nature suggests he will be a responsive and eager learner.
