A little about them
Meet Pepe, an affectionate and playful Border Collie mix who loves people, playing ball, treats, outdoor time, and other dogs. He is gentle, intelligent, playful, and enjoys giving kisses and receiving pets. Pepe has good leash manners, takes treats gently, and passed his food test with no resource guarding.
He previously lived with Mae, another dog, for about 15 months. They enjoy each other but can be adopted separately.
Ideal Home
Pepe needs a home without cats or livestock because he will chase them. Good fencing and space to run and play would be ideal. He gets along very well with other dogs, and a canine companion could be a great fit. He was calm and loving with children ages 5 and 7, but only older children are recommended. A family introduction is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Pepe is a neutered, vaccinated male estimated to be 3 years old and weighing 69 pounds.
Training & Support
Pepe has good leash manners, sits for treats, keeps his kennel clean, and is treat motivated. He prefers to potty outside and may have some house-training, though this is not guaranteed. He will benefit from time to bond with his new family and continued positive training.
