Please welcome Philip back to Rescue Row. Philip was adopted three years ago and, through no fault of his own, has found himself back in our care. His mom was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness, and his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he can find the active lifestyle he deserves. Now 3 1/2 years old, Philip is searching for a very active home where he can thrive as an only dog or with another compatible canine companion. Philip takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes a true Velcro pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He is affectionate, loyal, and forms deep bonds with his people. He is house trained, kennel trained, great with babies and children, does well with other dogs and ignores the resident boss cat. According to his sister's DNA: Wisdom Panel, Philip is: 49% Australian Shepherd/42% Poodle/7% Golden Retriever/2% Miniature American Shepherd.
