Queenie- Foster to Adopt

Queenie is a lovely senior female Beagle who, along with her companions Arnold and Dempster, faced a difficult start in life. Sadly, their owner passed away, and they were abandoned, later testing positive for heartworms and tick-borne diseases. After a journey from Memphis, they are now safe and sound in the Chicago area, with Queenie currently in a foster home. She's a sweet soul who, with patience and time, is learning to trust humans again. We're hoping to find a wonderful foster-to-adopt home where she can continue to blossom.

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore. She would also benefit from the companionship of confident canine friends who can help her build even more confidence.

Ongoing Health

Queenie has been treated for heartworms and tick-borne diseases.

Training & Support

Queenie is still learning to trust humans and may need some extra patience and gentle encouragement as she adjusts to her new environment. Having confident canine companions in the home can be a great support for her.
