Luca

Luca is an approximately 2-year-old, 33-pound, neutered male Aussie mix with a heart full of love and a past full of challenges. He was sadly abandoned at an oil field but has since been rescued and is ready to leave his past behind. Despite his rough start, Luca is incredibly sweet and affectionate, thriving on human companionship. His favorite spot is right by your side, enjoying gentle pets, belly rubs, or simply being near you. He is making great progress with crate training and leash walking and is eager to continue building his confidence with a patient family. Luca also gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, though he'd also be content as a cherished only pet. Luca is looking for a loving, forever home where he'll never have to wonder where he belongs again.

Ideal Home

Luca would love a home where he can be close to his people and receive plenty of affection. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a canine friend, but he's also happy to be the center of attention.

Luca is up-to-date on vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Luca is doing well in his crate and is making progress with leash walking. He is eager to learn and will benefit from a patient adopter who can help him continue to build his confidence.
