Leo is a 3-year-old American Bulldog mix, weighing in at about 65 pounds of pure love, cuddles, and playful energy! He's neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated, making him all set and ready to find his forever family. Leo first came to us after having a hard time adjusting to a home with another dog. Because of that, he's looking for a home where he can be the only animal and soak up all the love and attention for himself. When he was adopted and later returned, his shelter friends learned that he has quite the prey drive! He loves watching birds, squirrels, and anything else that moves. Sometimes he gets so excited on walks that he pulls on the leash, so he'll need a family that's willing to keep working with him on his leash manners and help him stay focused. At home, though, he's a total cuddle bug. He loves curling up in bed with his people and has definitely earned the title of lap dog. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out on an adventure, Leo is happiest when he's spending time with his favorite humans. He also loves enrichment activities and tasty snacks! Some of his favorite treats are Kongs stuffed with wet food, yogurt, blueberries, and other delicious goodies. He's also a big fan of chewing on carrots and broccoli. And when it comes to toys? Nothing beats the joy of tearing them apart during a good play session! Leo has tested well with children aged 8 and older who can respect his space and join him on all of life's adventures. He has a lot of love to give and would thrive with a family that understands his needs and enjoys an active, fun-loving companion.
