Forever home found!

Summer is a sweet 6-year-old, approximately 11-pound girl with a blonde coat, who came to us as a breeder release. She's still learning about the world, like grass and leashes, but she's a quick study and eager to please! Summer absolutely adores snuggling and is happiest when she's close to her human, whether on the couch or in a bed. She has the most adorable face and beautiful eyes that will melt your heart. Summer has shown herself to be patient and sweet with visiting young boys, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and even teenage humans. She's a little shy at first but warms up with gentle encouragement. While she may not bark much, she has the cutest little squeak and chirp!

Ideal Home

Summer would do best in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She's apartment-qualified and would likely be happy in various living situations, as long as leash laws are enforced if no fence is present.

Ongoing Health

Summer has no known special health issues. She will be spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Summer is working on her housetraining and is still learning to be comfortable on a leash. She responds well to praise and encouragement, and her foster mom has noticed she gets "zoomies" when she needs to go potty, which helps with timing! She rides well in the car.
