About Nona
Nona is a one-year-old, 50-pound spayed female Staffie mix with a personality that's really starting to shine! She's got that playful puppy spark but is growing into herself, gaining confidence, and learning to channel her joy into being the best girl. Nona is built like a little tank with a short, sturdy frame and a front-heavy build. She loves to zoom around the backyard with her favorite toy and greets her foster mom with an enthusiastic flying leap when she comes home from work. She's all sweetness wrapped in a playful package and loves being near her people. When she gets excited, her whole body wiggles, especially her adorable booty, and her tail goes a mile a minute. She loves meeting new friends and has been socializing a lot, even doing wonderfully with a tiny child. Nona has a stubborn streak that makes her even more lovable and funny. She's incredibly clever and loves figuring things out. She is highly motivated by toys and treats, making training fun. Nona has mastered "sit" and is working on her leash manners. She enjoys walks of up to 2 to 3 miles and is delightful to have by your side once she arrives. Nona is fully crate trained and settles in beautifully overnight. She's also doing great with her potty training and needs a family willing to continue reinforcing her routine. She's a shy little watchdog and will sound the alarm if she hears or sees something unfamiliar. One of her most irresistible features is her adorable underbite, which makes her goofy expressions even cuter. She's dog-friendly and gets along great with her foster siblings. Nona hasn't been around cats or kids in a home setting, but we think she'd do well in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered kids who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She'd thrive with a confident canine friend to play with and learn from, but she'd also be happy as your one-and-only. Nona is expected to fill out into a sturdy, medium-to-large-sized dog.
Ideal Home
Nona would do well in a home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She would also thrive with a confident canine friend to play with and learn from, but she would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only.
Ongoing Health
Nona is a healthy dog with no current health conditions to report.
