This handsome six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier is a gentle soul with a striking white coat and golden patches. Weighing in at about 55 pounds, Bently is a medium-sized boy who carries himself with sweet confidence, and those unforgettable eyes just melt your heart! He’s a devoted companion who knows how to balance playfulness with plenty of affection. Bently adores children and happily engages in playtime with grandkids, cherishing games of tug with his favorite rope. He thrives on attention and absolutely loves to cuddle, leaning in close to show just how affectionate he can be.
Ideal Home
Bently would love a family who enjoys giving pets and praise, as attention is truly his love language. He's wonderful with young children and is eager to join in on the fun! He is neutral around other dogs and would need thoughtful introductions to canine companions. He tends to keep his distance from cats.
Ongoing Health
Bently's vaccinations are up to date. He will be required to be neutered prior to placement in his new home.
Training & Support
Bently knows "sit" and "come here." While he hasn't attended formal training classes, he would thrive with positive reinforcement and new learning opportunities. He enjoys walks and exploring with his nose. Bently was house-trained in the past, but after spending time in an outdoor space, his indoor routines are unknown. With consistency, encouragement, and gentle guidance, he can adjust beautifully. He may be a little shy in new environments at first, but he warms up with patience and kindness.
