Elena is a dream girl! She is likely a Black Mouth Cur mix with sugar, spice, and everything nice. She is extremely loyal and loves cuddles from her people. Elena likes to nudge your arm for attention and absolutely loves squeaky toys. She will also gaze at you with her gorgeous, soft eyes, waiting for a scratch or a kiss.

Elena is house-trained and crate-trained. She gets along well with the six dogs and one cat in her foster home. However, she can be territorial in a new environment with other dogs, so an experienced dog home or an only-dog home would be ideal. With consistent leadership, she can cohabitate with other dogs.

Elena knows how to sit and waits for permission to eat her food. She loves children and is comfortable with even the smallest ones hugging her. One of her favorite pastimes is watching squirrels in the backyard; she can sit and observe them for hours! Elena is a wonderful dog ready for her forever home and has plenty of love and fun to share with the right family.
