Meet Marty, a 1.5-year-old American Staffordshire mix who weighs a perfect 45 lbs. Marty is a bundle of energy and affection, always ready to dash around with excitement and then happily settle in for loving pets. He has a perfectly spotty nose and piercing green eyes that are sure to captivate anyone lucky enough to catch his gaze. Despite his challenging start in life, Marty’s tail hasn't stopped wagging, and he approaches life with a wiggly body and a soft, hopeful face, ready to shower affection on anyone willing to give him a chance. His jumpy greetings are just his way of showing how thrilled he is to meet new friends, and with some gentle guidance, he’s learning the calmer ways to express his joy.

Ideal Home

Marty is looking for a patient and loving owner who can provide the attention and consistency he needs to thrive. We recommend homes with children 10 years and older to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families.

Training & Support

Marty is still mastering the basics like leash manners and the classic ‘sit.’ He is very treat-motivated and an enthusiastic learner. His jumpy greetings are something he is learning to manage with gentle guidance.
