Morty and Ferdy

Morty and Ferdy are a bonded brother and sister pair, estimated to be born in June 2020, who need to find a loving home together. These sweet pups were sadly dumped at a high-kill shelter when they were just three months old. Morty is a leggy, tall fellow, while Ferdy is a bit smaller and incredibly agile. Both dogs are very smart and walk well on harnesses. They are food-motivated, which will be a great asset for training!

Ideal Home

Morty and Ferdy are escape artists, especially when it comes to their crates, so they would do best in a home where someone is around. Ferdy is an escape artist who can climb a four-foot fence and should not be left unattended.

Ongoing Health

Morty and Ferdy are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and neutered. They are also on monthly heartworm preventative and monthly flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Morty tends to do better with female dogs, while Ferdy does well with all dogs. Ferdy would be a natural at agility! Morty loves to play but also cherishes his human companionship. Both pups need a little time to warm up when you first meet them, but it's not a long process. They can be vocal when they play, and also with you, but it's never aggressive—just their way of communicating!
