About Woody

My name is Woody! Some say I'm a shepherd mix, others think I look like a big Labrador. My breed might not be pure, but my heart certainly is! I'm a big boy, recently neutered, and weigh around 90 pounds. I love humans of all ages, but we're not sure how I feel about cats or other dogs just yet. I'm still learning how to play, and when I do, I can be a little boisterous, but I'm never mean. I tend to bark when I see other dogs on the street.

I was adopted last January, and my previous family estimated my age to be around 3 years old based on my teeth. I've received all my core vaccines, as well as rabies, leptospirosis, and kennel cough shots. I just need one booster. I'm also microchipped and up-to-date on deworming.

My current family wants to find me a new home because they believe it's what's best for me. After getting to know me, they think I'd thrive with more active people in a more rural setting.

Ideal Home

I need an active home, ideally in the countryside, or with someone who is retired. A fenced yard or enclosure is a must!

Ongoing Health

I'm up-to-date on all my vaccinations and deworming, with only one booster shot remaining. I've also been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

I tend to bark when my family leaves without me, but I don't have any destructive habits indoors. I'm a very curious boy and I love to watch the world go by from the window. If I see people having fun outside without me, I want to join in, which is why I bark! I don't fetch a ball, but I absolutely love tug toys!
